DIED - Yesterday morning, July 31st, John C. Lanier, Esq., in the 45th year of his life. For many years a citizen of this city, and formerly clerk of the Chancery Court of Shelby County. The friends and acquaintances of the deceased and his family are invited to attend his funeral this (SUNDAY) evening at 6 o’clock from Calvary Church to Elmwood Cemetery.
