Hello,
I lost my father in April and hope to re-connect to relatives from this line, and learn more about his branch of the family. He had many that lived in this area. I would also like to hear from friends that know something about him or his family.
Hamilton King Avery II, Lieutenant Colonel, USAF, Retired
Died today 10 April 2008 at 4:45 PM. He was 91.
Born 22 February 1917 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was a descendant of the Groton Avery Clan, and the Daigle sugar plantation owners of Louisiana .
He was the son of the late Hamilton King Avery I of Memphis, TN and Alice Josephine Daigle of New Orleans, LA.
He was the husband of the late Hilda Gause Avery of SC.
