MRS. ANNIE BROWN – Rites Today For Longtime Memphis Resident – Services for Mrs. Annie Brown, a patient in Shelby County Hospital for many years, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Spencer-Sturla Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Brown, who was 78, died in the hospital early yesterday. Born in Atwood, Tenn., Mrs. Brown came to Memphis more than 40 years ago. She was the widow of William Brown, an employe of Memphis Light Gas & Water Division at the time of his death in 1951. Mrs. Brown was a member of Park Avenue Church of Christ. She leaves a son, James Brown, whose address is unknown, and three sisters, Mrs. Lilian Hatcher of 3166 Pershing, Mrs. Lura Lowrance of Atwood and Mrs. Clyde Leach of near McLemoresville, Tenn.
