Hi Debbie: I don't know if this is your Trowbridge connection but because of the Abner, Hazen and Michigan names, I thought I would forward this information for your perusal. 197Abner Trowbridge (Daniel136, David114, Joseph105, William100, Thomas1), born 1779 in Morristown, NJ; died 1858, in Troy, Michigan; married 1802(?) in Painted Post(?), NY, Sally Castaline (Her birth and parents are unknown to descendants), who died 1834 in Painted Post. Abner Trowbridge perhaps accompanied his elder brother, David, to Painted Post, Steuben county, NY. He was engaged in farming there for about 30 yrs. He is supposed to have accompanied his sons to Troy, Michigan, among the early pioneers. Children born in Painted Post, NY 359 1. Benjamin, born 1804. 360 2. Amariah Castaline, b. January 27, 1806. 3. Electa, b. 1808, m. Daniel Mahollan of Truittsburgh, PA. 361 4. Job, b. 1811. 5. James, b. 1813; m. Harriet ____, who resides in Greenville, Michigan. 6. Julia Ann, b. 1815(?); m. John Lennon of Shiawassee county, Michigan. 7. Marilla, b. 1816(?); m. Hiram Rhodes of Shiawassee county. 8. Rachel, b. 1818(?); m. Uriah Masten of California. 9. Eliza, b. 1820(?); m. George Hazen of Capac, Michigan. This information is from The Trowbridge Genealogy, published in 1908 in New Haven, Conn. Compiled by Francis Bacon Trowbridge. The numbers in front of the names indicate their order in the book and is useful when there are a lot of men by the same name. Also, after the Trowbridge women married they were not forwarded in the genealogy. Hope this will tie into your line. I have more for you if you think this is yours. Regards, Marie
