481 Marvin Trowbridge (John262, Seth161, James123,Daniel10,James103,William100, Thomas1), b. May 2, 1825,in Preble, NY. Died October 10, 1900 in Bluffton, MN,m. in 1847 in Solon, OH,Mary Eliza Daniels, dau of Sylvester Daniels, born March 24, 1827, in Solon; resides in Williston, ND.
Marvin Trowbridge came in boyhood with his parents to Solon, Ohio, where he learned the trade of a blacksmith. He lived in Solon until 1864, when he emigrated with his family to Elk township, Delaware county, Iowa. During the Civil War he enlisted from that town May 18, 1864, for 100 days in Company F, 46th Iowa Infantry. He moved to Bluffton, MN some years prior to his death.

Note: 1 thru 3 born in Solon, Ohio. 4 thru 8 born in Delaware county, Iowa.
1. Pamelia, b. May 24, 1849; m. May 12, 1867, Samuel Royer Taylor of Millbank, SD.

3. Charles Arthur, b. May 1853; resides in Esmond, SD. He failed to answer the compilers letters.
4. Ella, b. October 12, 1854; m. January 17, 1870, John Barnhart and resides in Bluffton, MN.
804 5. Horace S., b. July 25, 1856.
6. Nellie, b. March 1858; m. 1883, Alexander Shaw and resides in South Seattle, Washington. Failed to answer the compiler's letters.
7. Marcia, b.March 1861, m. 1889, Patrick L. Devine and resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Failed to answer compiler's letters.
8. Howard, b. July 1865; resides in South Seattle. Failed to answer compiler's letters.
Our lines join with 103Deacon James Trowbridge. I am descended from James and Esther Howe, his second wife. You are descended from 103James and his third wife, Mary Belden. Daniel was their first child.
