I have a book entitled "The History of Ulster County" and in checking the index the following is related to Trowbridge's in Ulster Co, Kingston area.

Ralph Trowbridge, Signed the Articles of Association for the Township of New Paltz.

Notation on the town of Olive:
The town of Olive shall contain all tht part of said county beginning at a healp of stone on the south side of the Subeaty road, ...and running thence northeasterly in a straight line to the northeast corner of a lot of land belonging to Ralph Trowbridge, on the bounds of lot number twenty-three.

Soldier List of War 1861-65
Lucas Trowbridge enl 9/21/1864
Peter Trowbridge enl 8/21/1861 (7 months in prison and discharged)
Issac L. Trowbridge enl 9/2/1864

Reformed Dutch Church of Samsonville:

Hope it helps.
