Hi Jim, Well, if you're in the mood for a bit of scandal, I have a theory... I found your grandmother Pearl Peck in the 1920 census: Shandaken, Ulster Co., NY - District 203, page 4A James Peck, age 53, head Jeannett, age 49, wife Margret, age 23, dau. Pearl, age 18, dau. James, age 15, son Jeanett, age 14, dau. Arvilla, age 7, dau. (all of the above born NY, NY, NY) On just the previous page of the census, presumably living in the same neighborhood, I found this family: Isaac B Trowbridge, age 21, head Beula, age 19, wife Josiah, age 67, father Minnie, age 56, mother In the 1930 census, Isaac B Trowbridge has a new wife, Helen. So apparently something happened during the previous decade that wrecked his first marriage to Beula. Perhaps this is all just idle speculation and coincidence, but I'll leave that up to you. :^) Cheers, Geoff Notify Administrator about this message?
