As a hobby, I rescue old, identified photos and attempt to place them back into the hands of family. I rescued these, because I thought they would be part of my TROWBRIDGE/KETCHAM line, but I don't think they are. The first photo is identified as Zonie Holyfield, taken Aug 20, 1888 in Buckhannon, Upshur co. WV. It also says, "Joe Trowbridges 1st wife she died in childbirth w/Ellsworth. The other two are of Ilabelle E. Bonar Trowbridge. One says she's "mother of Ross & Dorothy" and the other one says, " circa 1903, Ross & Dorothy Trowbridges's mother." If you're interested, please contact me throught the message board and send a note to: digginroots@yahoo.com These are interesting, expecially the one of Zonie-(also referred to as Zona), in the fact that she has a huge bustle on the back of her dress and it's almost flat-like a shelf. Wonderful treasures to get into the hands of the family. Notify Administrator about this message?
