Click on word Results on left of the screen

This kit will be in a group we call Group 8 (one of the sort of light green groups).

Oldest known ancestor, Robert Turner, may have been an immigrant but so far we haven't been able to document it. Some conflict on whether he was of Irish or English ancestry.

The census for David gives a range of births from 1813-1818 (age 33 in 1850; 47 in 1860; 52 in 1870).

In all three census years, he and wife Violet were living in York Dist/Co. SC.

If you know of a male Turner directly descended from your gggranddaddy William G. Turner, we would love to have him join us in the Turner DNA Project by doing the DNA test.

Contact me personally (click on my name and you will be able to find my e-mail address) if you are interested.

Gail
