Might anyone be able to talk to me regarding migration patterns in and out of Accomack Co. VA?
I have had an idea(picked up a long time ago from general reading)that there was considerable migration/travel to Accomack Co. VA from RI and CT and a corresponding level of migration/travel from Accomack to Nansemond Co. VA and down into the Old Ablemarle Dist. of NC; the time frame that I'm dealing with is c. 1680-1720s.
If anyone has had any experience with this matter, I would appreciate whatever observations you might happen to have.
