Interesting. Though I find even less cause for him to have bought land way out there.
I found reference to a Savageville/Savage Town. also hunting around Accomack County (of which I know nothing) I found lots of folks in the general time period by the name of Savage. Possibly Savage Town named for them in early 18th century. (?)
I need a history book on Accomack County I think.
How easily I get side tracked by these little mysteries. The Will I found in London answered tons of questions and authenticated exactly what I needed & off I go over a phrase in a codicil.
