I‘m looking for information on Burrell Drummond and family. Burrell was born in Worcester Co, MD, and appears on the 1790 Federal Census there. I believe he is the son of Stephen Drummond who died 1773 in Worcester, who was the son of John Drummond b. 1688 and Amy Parker of Accomack Co, VA.
Burrell named a son Parker Drummond who came to Bourbon Co, KY, where he married Sarah Townsend (also of Worcester Co, MD). Sarah was the daughter of Joshua Townsend and Sarah Merrill; Joshua the son of Barkley Townsend. There seems to be some traffic of the families between Worcester Co and Accomack Co.
My ggg-grandfather was the son of Parker Drummond and Sarah Townsend, John Townsend Drummond of Rush Co and Howard Co, Indiana and Kingman, Kansas.
Any assistance would be helpful. Have lost track of the male Drummond line after John Townsend Drummond’s sons Reuben Haman Drummond b. 1850 and Oscar Drummond b. 1858.
