I looked in the Quit Rents of Va 1704, and found the following...in case there is a clue for you;
Burrel, Suprian owned 350 acres in KWC
The following Drummonds are included;
Hill Drummond, Accomack Co
John " James City Co
John " Accomack Co
Richard " "
Stephen " "
William " James City Co
There were several Burwells, if you think that a possibility. a Major Burwell/Lewis Burwell seemed to have been been a huge landowners, with thousands of acres in Charles City co, York Co, James City Co, New Kent Co, KWC and Isle of Wight, Abbington-Gloucester Co, we're talking 7,000-8,000 acres in several of these. The other Burwell Is Nathaniel, who owned 600 acres in Ware-Gloucester Co. I looked in early history of Westmorland, and Lewis Burwell patented land in 1650...wills of Rappahannock Co, Va has no Burell, any spelling, or Drummond 1656-1692.
