I need your help to find my maternal 2gr-grandmother's parents.
Mildred Anne Davis was born in February, 1835 in Buckingham or Prince Edward County, Virginia. Sometime in the early to mid-1870s she became the second wife of Shedrach Alvis Lewis (1828-1887) of Appomattox Co, VA. In 1875 she gave birth to their first child, Charles Edward Lewis, and the following year to my gr-grandmother, Geneva Davis Lewis. Mildred died in 1936, at the ripe old age of 101.
I have more information about her grandchildren and so forth that I would be willing to share. If you can tell me anything about Mildred or her family, I would really appreciate it.
