Thank you Walker. I appreciate your message. I think I have the Marshall family narrowed down to one of the sons of Henry Wilkins Marshal. Another researcher just recently got in touch with me about the Marshall family

I would really like to find the father and mother of Josephine Fore. The siblings names are:
Elizabeth "Lizzie"; Della; Josephine; Lucy; Roy Lawson; Jesse/Jessie Cleveland Fore. I only have a birthdate for Josephine, 1 June 1900 Virginia.

There is a problem of my not knowing the correct questions to ask. I suspect one of the many Fore householders on the 1880 census in Charlotte and Appomattox Counties was the grandfather of Jo, I just don't have a clue which one.
