Seeking info on a gggrandfather DANIEL S GODSEY (Dec 1824 - after 1900). In Appomattox Co census 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900. A farmer, not a preacher! First married Mary E abt 1847 & fathered Eliza J (abt 1848), Thomas Edward (abt 1851), William D (abt 1855), and Theodosia E (abt 1858). Then married Frances E abt 1860 and fathered Ida Bell (abt 1866), Robert Lee (abt 1868), and Sally P (abt 1876), plus two additional children who died. All activity in Appomattox Co VA. Unable to find siblings or ancestors for this Daniel S Godsey. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
