WILLIAM A. TIPTON, b. 1839 in VA. He married Nancy Jane Hoard in 1859 in Talladega Co., AL. Then in the 1900 AL census WILLIAM states that his father was b. in VA and his mother in TN. On WILLIAM's death certificate it listed father ISAAC TIPTON, b. in VA and mother UNKNOWN.
