George Wray received a land patent in Brunswick co Va in 1771. I assume that is a land grant or a deed. Someone might be able to tell me what a patent was. Would anyone have a record book that would show a George WRay receiving a land patent in 1771 in Brunswick co Va? Maybe it would tell me where George Wray was from and who his wife was. Tahnks
