Just How many Marriage Records are left from Buchanan County???

I've seen the marriage records on the internet but is that all the records that still exist? I guess that fire really did destroy everything.

What is it about courthouses mysteriously catching on fire and records vanishing without a trace? Russell and Buchanan and a host of others have burned all over Virginia and why?

It's kinda like something don't want people to know information about their family's past. Maybe I'm paranoid.
