Following is what I have on Basil Blankenship and Lou Emma Sutherland:
Basil b. c1882 KY, married 1st to Lou Cindy (Lucinda?) unknown. They had the following children:
1. Cephas Blankenship b. 3 Jan 1902
2. Ira Blankenship
Basil and Lou Cindy divorced. She later married Albert O'Quinn.
Basil m. Lou Emma Sutherland 2nd, she was the daughter of James D. H. Sutherland and Crissa Fuller.
They had the following children:
1. Ray Blankenship b. c1912, d. 10 Feb 1961, m. Alta Fuller 20 Oct 1932
2. Arthur Clyne Blankenship b. c1923 Breaks, Dickenson Co. VA, d. 7 May 2003 at his residence, Breaks, Dickenson Co. VA, m. France C. (unknown). He is buried in the Blankenship Cemetery, Breaks, Dickenson Co. VA
3. Ralph Blankenship
4. William Blankenship
5. Clovis L. Blankenship
6. Helen Blankenship, m. Narmel "Bug" Mullins
7. (dau) Blankenship - died as infant
