Spurlocks on Sinking Hole Creek

In the years 1740-1744 in Goochland, William Sputlock bought and sold land on Licking Hole Creek and Sinking Hole Creek Johns Creek and Treasurers Run were also mentioned.

From the diary of Rev. Robert Rose, one can pin-point this Licking Hole Creek as a stream running into the Jsmes River from the north side of the river. It was a few miles upstream of the James from Elk Island.

I cannot pin-point Sinking Holse Creek, also called "The Great Sinking Hole". in one deed.

Can anyone tell me where Sinking Hole Creek was(or is ?)located ? Was it near Licking Hole Creek ?

Thank you.

- Ken
