I am looking for the parents of Sarah A. Lewis b abt 1800.
William Cole TALLEY Sr married Sarah A. LEWIS on 7 Dec 1824 in Goochland Co, VA. One of the witnesses was Jesse LEWIS.
They had a daughter Emily Cole TALLEY who married a cousin, Samuel Cole TALLEY. They both died leaving young children, Sarah Isabelle TALLEY, 1859 and Julian Clifford TALLEY 1863. These children were taken in by William F. LEWIS & his wife Julia. William F. LEWIS was born about 1824. He is shown in Goochland Co, VA in 1850 thru 1900. He must have been a close relative of Sarah A.(LEWIS)TALLEY to have taken in her grandchildren. Does anyone know any more about this family?
