Louisa Co. Mallory Surname DNA Match

There has been a likely DNA match between two Mallory lines that previously had no proven relationship!

The 12 marker results for a descendant of Thomas Mallory of England b.1605, d.1671 resulted in a close match (11/12 markers) with a participant in the Mallory Surname DNA Study who's direct paternal Mallory ancestor came from Louisa County, VA.

More results from another participant's test are expected to be available later this week. It will be interesting to compare this one (1) marker genetic distance with other participants. These test results may lead the genealogical research along a lines that might never have been found without DNA testing.
