From the marriage bond of John Pace and Elizabeth P.Smith
Know all men by these presents that we John Pace and
John Anderson are held and firmly bound unto
Wyndham Robertson, Lt.Governor of the Commonwealth of Va
for the time being, in the Just and full sum of
one hundred and fifty dollars------ we bind ourselves
----- dated this 10th day of October, 1836--
that whereas a license is desired for a marriage
intended to be had and solemized between the above
bound John Pace and Elizabeth P. Smith of Louisa County
John Pace and Elizabeth P.Smith were my grgrandparents!
Can anyone tell me more about her and her family.
Their son, John Walker Pace b. 1843 was my grandfather,
he married Rebecca Ann Robinson, Dau. of David Robinson.
She was born in Fluvanna Co, in 1853.
Please help me find my Smith and Robinsons ancestors.
