I need any information on a connection between the Marchant and Morse surnames in Glouster and/or Matthews Co. areas during the Civil War. I am stumped. My only connection I have is John and Lucy Morse (Marchant is parental name of John) who had a son, Victor Morse. The rest is as follows:
Victor Morse m. Bessie Lane (late 1800's)
children: Edward, Ruth, Robert, Chauncey
