Did your Noah G. marry a Ida Virginia Grimstead, of Gwynn's Island ? I have them married March 23, 1871. My Noah G. was born April 5, 1850 in Somerset, MD. and died Aug 14, 1931 in Mathews County. I am from the Grimstead family.
According to Mathews Marriage Register, Book 1, Page 7, Line 47.. Noah G. was 21 y/o when he marr. Ida V. His parents were listed as N. B. and E. H. Foster. I have Noah G. and Ida V. having the following children : Celestine Sterling, Noah T. Sterling, Leonard F. Sterling and Macey Sterling.
