Searching for lineage of Isaac F. Brownley of Mathews Co. who m. Sarah Frances Thomas of Portsmouth, VA. 12/12/1839. Isaac presumed to be owner of land at Horn Harbor. Tax records show "removed to Portsmouth about 1845." I am a great-granddaughter of this couple as is Mary Moore Hudgins who was Treas. of the City of Portsmouth 1927-1953.
