Does your mother's birth certificate give any indication of how old her mother was at the time your mother was born? or
how long she and Barney had been married? or how many children
she had given birth to before your mother? (these things are on my birth certificate but not all states show them. Any one would help.) If Rosetta and Barney were married before 1930, there is a chance of finding them on the 1930 census.

It might be possible to get a death certificate for Barney even without an exact date -
