Pennington/Largent Tie

I believe there is more that a casual tie between Abraham Pennington and the Largent family, especially John Largent.

I have recently been able to access the digital copies of the 1719 Cecil Co., Maryland Deeds and wonder if John Largent married either a sister or daughter of Abraham?
Does anyone know if there was an Eviss Pennington?
Eviss is the name given for the wife of John Largent on the 1734 Deed of Sale.

I also have just received through inter loan, the index to Virginia Patents and Grants, 1623-1774, Reel #363.

Starting with Book #11, there are 23 Patents/Grants given to Penningtons. The Grant to Abraham Pennington in Old Orange County, Va. is in Book 15, page 334 for 600 Acres on the "Western side of Sherrando River". Date of Grant, 12 June 1734. Unless I copied this wrong, the Index sates that this Patent was issued to an Isaac Pennington but the document itself is clearly to Abraham.

Some of the pages are so dark they can't be read but I think I got all the Penningtons listed and can post the remaining 22 entries I found if anyone is interested. Let me know.

Randy Largent
