Dunlavy Families of Middlesex, Can anyone help?

My husband's ancestor Braxton Dunlavy born in 1799 in Middlesex County, Va. He has got to be a son of one of the Dunlavy families in Middlesex there around that time. I know there was another man named Braxton in Middlesex County, Va. before the 1800s who could have been Braxton's father. Can anyone help with information on these families? There was a Braxton who patented land there in 1796 who was the son & heir of James Dunlavy who was deceased. I'm trying to locate Braxton's father. I know there were very few Dunlavy's there in 1800.
