There is St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, it has also been known as St. Michael's, Price's Church and the Old Brick Church.

There is an interesting book called "German New River Settlement: Virginia", by Ulysses S. A. Heavener. The book originally published abt. 1929, was reprinted by the Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., Baltimore Maryland. ISBN: 0-8063-0690-4.

If you discover you have family in this church let me know. I have a whole slew of family who worshiped here in the late 1700's and early-mid 1800's
