I am at a dead end. I have a Garland Conley born abt 1776 and he married Elisabeth Farley at Big Walker Creek, VA. Garland came from Montgomery Co., Va to Logan Co. Va (Now West Virginia in the early 1800's. He came with his father-in-law, Captain Henry farley. I cannot find who his father is? He had a sister named Bridgette and a brother named Bailey, along with other siblings including half brothers Edward and Thomas Chapman. Their mother's name was Susannah Connaley, when widdowed (from unknown Connaley,Conley) married Richard Chapman in 1791 at Montgomery Co., Va. Richard had property in Walker Creek, Va.
I am trying to find out who Garland's father was? Any leads or help would be greatly appreciated.
