I need proof of a patriot in Montgomery County, Va.
John Harmon, later know as John L. Harmon sevrd as private in the 9th Virginia Regiment under Capt. Gilchrist's Co. commaned by Col. George Matthews 1777-1778
This is said to be in a book "Montgomery Co. Va The First 100 Years" pg. 60 by Crush and Ingame.
Could somebody check this out for me?
