My wife's G Grandfather, William Sylvester BARTLETT, was born in or near Lovingston, Nelson Co., Virginia in about 1851. His father, Lee Sylvester BARTLETT, was a physician in the Confederate army, and was killed in the Civil War.

I'll be visiting Virginia in March (from Arizona), and would like to make a trip to Lovingston to search for clues about the BARTLETT family. Is there a local genealogy or history society in Lovingston?
