Dear Gael,
I have information on the Apperson/Shackelford
marriage to which you have inquired. I am certain
that this is my Shackelford line. I can't at the
moment give you exact details. It will take me a
while to find the material. I can tell you that
Emma Shackelford married an Apperson from New Kent
County,Virginia. She is buried in New Kent. There
is a beautiful monument there where she is buried.
I believe here father was Andrew Jackson
Shackelford, my grandfather's half brother. I can't
remember her mother's name at the moment. Give me
a few days to locate the information. Meanwhile,
please let me know how you might be connected to this
family. I have been looking for a connection for
a long time.
