Hi,
I am looking for any information on a James Lacy/Lacey Martin b. 22 May 1818 probably in NC. His mother was Lucinda Mary Lacy/Lacey b. 1800. His father is as of yet unknown. I have been told that the Martin family was associated with the Lacy/Lacey family and they could have possibly migrated to North Carolina together. James eventually settled near Gatlinburg, TN, in what is now Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He died 2 Jun 1906. Does anyone recognize these folks?
