I just saw a query in New Kent forum.com by Kathy Roberts but it was date 2000 and I am afraid she has no doubr cnaged her e-mail. I do know of her Thomas Twitty as found in ehis will of Arthur Price, Jr. I am most interessed in finding information on John Stanup or Stanhope who married Margaret, a sister of Arthur Price, Jr., and also mentioned in the will. I will send what Ihave and hope it helps someone and know e myJohn Stanhope, too.

York Co Deeds, etc., Part 2 1687-1691 His will :
“pages 475-78, 17 July 1690. Jane Clarke ,widdow, William Wood and Ann his wife, John Stanup and Margarett his wife and Thomas Twitty to Edmund Jenings of York Co, Esqr. For a sum of money. 50 acres...Arthur Price Junr. late of New Kent Co. dyed seized as son and heire of Arthur Prise Senior, of 50 acres on Queenes Creeke in York Co, heretofore in possession of Hugh Allen and now in the tenure of Richard Curttene, bounded between two creekes and soe takeing itts bredth betwixt creeke and creeke att the mouth and running into the woods. The title to the land is dissended to Ann Wood (daughter of late heire of Elizabeth, eldest sister of Arthur Prise), Margarett Stanup (his second sister) and Thomas Twitty son and heyre of Ann, younget sister of Arthur, and to Jane Clarke, heretofore the wife of Arthur. “ Signed by Jane Clarek, John Stanup Junr. Margarett (T) Stanup, Thomas Twitty. Wit: John (N) Anderson, J. Sedgwicke.”
