Ria, thanks for your response. I had found that site but hesitated an inquiry because of it's location in England. After your answer I have written about further records. Since more than 70 yrs have passed since the 1930 census, I'm not hopeful but it never hurts to try, does it? Maybe I can find someone to do a look-up at the U of Va. if this doesn't work. Thanks again
