Seeking copy of obituary and information about, Elizabeth (Miss Betsy) King's (1824VA-1899VA).
She died at Thomas Roscius BORLAND's (1844NC-1900VA) home, 158 York Street, Norfolk, VA 25th March 1899, buried in Lot 38, Elmwood Cemetery with the BORLAND family.
"Miss Betsy" apparently helped raise orphaned Thomas R BORLAND at George GODWIN's (1785VA-1866VA) home in Suffolk, VA after 1845 death of his father, Roscius Cicero BORLAND (1807VA-1845MS).
We have letters addressed to her at "Small Hopes Farm", Nansemond County, Chuckatuck Township, Virginia, from Thomas and his uncle Euclid BORLAND (1809VA-1881VA).
