Evidently not in Norfolk Ccounty. Pamela McVey's book "Norfolk County Virginia Will Book 2 1772-1788" covers that time period and doesn't include mention of a Griggs (or Greggs).

I checked Ethel Brewster's book "Norfolk County Virginia Will Book 3 1788-1802" and it does list a William Griggs as a grandson of Rachel Butt in 1795. He, Lishea Biggs, Charles Griggs and Benjamin Griggs are listed as grandchildren.

You might try Norfolk city...or it could be the will was never produced in court or didn't survive.
