I need the given name of the BOOTH man who was married to Elizabeth Mealey/Maley, daughter of Patrick, Sr., before 25 October 1712 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Was it Richard Booth b. 1681 d. 1739, son of Adam Booth? Or was it another son of Adam Booth? A descendent of Richard Booth was James Booth b. 1740 in Northumberland County, Virginia, according to the St. Stephen's Parish Register. This James Booth had a sister named Eleanor/Elinor also per the parish register. The James Booth b. 1740 migrated to the area that became Edgefield District, South Carolina, between 1771 and 1788 and died there 1822. He had a daughter named Elizabeth b. c. 1772 and a daughter named Mary Elisabeth b. 1777. Also two other daughters with the given names of Eleanor/Elinor and Hannah. Elizabeth as a given name with itsvariations and nicknames was a fairly common given name, but to appear in later generations with Eleanor and Hannah I think would seem to be significant?

Legatees: Sons John Mealey and Patrick Maley, land to be equally divided, but if either dies without issue, said land to son Daniel Maley. Wife Joan Mealey. Daughters Elizabeth Booth, Elinor Hall and Hannah Mealey. Witness: Rodham Neale, John Tullos, David Straughan.
