6 Sep 1685 Northumberland Co. VA Court Orders shows the following -
"Upon the petition of Samuel Sanford who married Elizabeth Keene Executrix of Edward Elliott, a Probate is granted him of the Last Will and Testament of the said Edward Elliott. The Will being proved by the oaths of Francis Boone (which was in Court produced) that the said Francis did see the Testator sign, seal, and deliver the said Will as does appear under the hand of William Hatton [sic] one of the Lord Proprietor's Justices of the Peace for the County of St. Mary's in the Province of Maryland dated the 24th of June 1685. The other witness named William Hooke being dead."
Was Elizabeth the daughter of William Keene & Elizabeth Rogers? If so, when & where did she marry Edward Elliott? Did they have any children? Or do I have the wrong Elizabeth Keene marrying Samuel Sanford/Samford of Northumberland?
