James SMITH of Mantua (1768-1832)

I am trying to find out if James SMITH (ca. 1768 - 8 Feb 1832) of "Mantua" in Northumberland Co. ever remarried after the death of his wife, Ann MUSE (1778-1799). Given that they married in late 1798, I think Ann must have died giving birth to their son, James Muse Smith, the following year.

Also looking for more information on James Smith, Sr. himself prior to coming to Northumberland. I know he was born in Co. Derry, Ireland about 1768, and I think he may have been in Baltimore prior to VA.
