I'm looking for information on this family listed in the 1850 Patrick County Virginia census.
Griffith
Gilbert m 40
Emily f 50 VA
James m 18 VA Laborer
Benj. m 17 VA Laborer

My great grandfathers name was Samuel J. Griffin... the age for this James corresponds with the age of my greatgrandfather. On Samuel J's marriage bond his parents are listed as James and Pheba Griffin... Patrick Co. VA. Oct 12, 1855. I am thinking his fathers name could have been Gilbert James Griffin or James Gilbert Griffin.

I found Emily/Miley Griffin listed as head of house in 1860 census with Samuel Griffin 25 years old. I found a marriage bond for Gilbert Griffin and Miley Haney July 29, 1829 in Patrick Co.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
