Need any available information on John William Murray who was born o/a 1831 in Cumberland County (?), Virginia. Later he resided in Powhatan County and was a gentleman justice of Powhatan County Court in 1861. He was a 1st Lt. in the 4th VA Cavalry and KIA at Westminster, MD on June 29, 1863. He married his first cousin Mary Ellen Murray. They had one surviving daughter, Elizabeth Madison who married a Davis.
