Sandra, I believe the census shows James Mickle was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Is that your information? I have his second wife as America Seay and thought she was Harriet's mother. Guess I'm wrong about that. My husband's grandmother was a Seay but don't know if related to America. Somewhere I heard the story..no proof...that one of the Mickle brothers went back to Scotland and brought their mother to America. Would love to know if that's true and who she was.
