I am researching the FLEMING / FLEMMING lines in early Prince Edward County, Virginia.
I am especially interested in Beverley FLEMING who married Sally WADDELL on 21 Dec 1778 in Prince Edward. I have not found Beverley on any Prince Edward census, but am wondering if Sarah FLEMING listed as head of household on the 1810 and 1820 census records might be the former Sally WADDELL. I know that Sally is often a nickname for Sarah.
I also found a marriage for Sarah FLEMING to Samuel B. WALDEN on 15 Oct 1823 in Prince Edward. Does anyone know if this is the same person or a different Sarah FLEMING from the one on the 1810 and 1820 census?
On the 1820 Prince Edward, there is a Pachal FLEMMING listed as overseer for Elijah McGEHEE. Paschal FLEMING married Polly George BURKS in P.E. on 7 May 1818.

The only FLEMING household I found in 1830, 1840, and 1850 Prince Edward is Cynthia/Synthy FLEMING, b. abt. 1805 in Prince Edward County. In the 1850 household with Cynthia are Susan age 48, Demaris age 43, Joanna age 41, and Maria age 40 all born in Prince Edward. Does anyone know the parents of these FLEMING ladies? Are they all sisters?
Any additional information on any of these FLEMINGs would be greatly appreciated. Are they connected to the FLEMINGs in early Halifax Co, VA? I believe that some of these FLEMING families moved to Sumner County, TN. I am especially interested in finding the names of the children of Beverly FLEMING and Sally WADDELL.
