Hello,

I don't know whether this will be of help or not. I am a historian in Stafford County, Virginia. A John T. McCoy (1819-1905) lived in the northwestern part of Stafford. He had a daughter named Lizzie (born c.1854) who married J. Calhoun Colvin of Prince William County. John McCoy's land was very near the Prince William/Fauquier County line.
