Hi C,

I checked this book out of the library. You may want to read this book which is the best book I have ever read on finding Military folks. "How To Locate Anyone Who Is Or Has Been in the Military: Armed Forces Locator Directory".

Fifth Edition, by Lt Col (Ret) Richard Johnson, MIE Publishing, $23. It explains hundreds of proven ways to locate current and former members of all service branches, including the National Guard and Reserve. It provides information on how anyone may obtain copies of individual military records, rosters, muster rolls, after-action reports and numerous other military records.

What about writing to the US Military for their military records? I requested my Daddy's WW II records and also a copy of his medals.

They sent all with no questions from the St. Louis, Missouri personnel office.

What about if you wrote every thing about the date and location of their birth, school, military, death, etc. would more folks try to help you?

Maybe this site can help you;

You will find much more info at:

Best regards with your searching - Sir-Gary™ in New Orleans
