Sweet and Brand families of Hinesburg

I am searching for information on Abraham Sweet born in West Greenwich Rhode Island, married Thankful Brand there 26 Nov 1787 according to the Vital Records of Rhode Island 1636-1850 and then moved to Hinesburg, Chittenden, Vermont where his family was born and raised.

I would appreciate help from anyone on hints of Abraham's parentage.
